Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Berbasis Web untuk Pemilihan Vendor Desain Website Menggunakan Metode EDAS

Abstract is a brief summary of the paper to help readers quickly determine the main research problem. The development of digital business demands a functional e-commerce interface and company profile. Choosing the right website design vendor is often an obstacle due to the many subjective criteria that must be considered such as price, portfolio, processing time, UI/UX responsiveness, and after-sales support. This study aims to build a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) using the Evaluation based on Distance from Average Solution (EDAS) method to assist and automate the process of selecting website design vendors. The EDAS method was chosen because of its ability to handle multi-criteria by calculating the distance from the average solution, thereby producing a highly objective and accurate evaluation. The system testing results using data from 5 vendors indicate that vendor V3 was selected as the best alternative with the highest Appraisal Score (AS) of 0.892. In conclusion, the implementation of the EDAS method in this web-based DSS successfully accelerated and increased the objectivity of decision-making for selecting website design vendors by up to 85% compared to the manual evaluation previously used by the agency.
